By accessing or using MetaGen Pro ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MetaGen Pro is an AI-powered tool that generates SEO metadata including meta titles, meta descriptions, Open Graph tags, Twitter card tags, and related content suggestions based on URLs or text input provided by the user. The Service is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees about the accuracy, relevance, or effectiveness of generated metadata for any specific use case.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
4. Free and Paid Plans
MetaGen Pro offers both free and paid subscription plans. Free plans include a limited number of generations per month as specified on our Pricing page. Paid plans provide additional features and higher usage limits. All fees are exclusive of taxes, which are your responsibility. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. You may not use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service ("scraping"). You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its systems.
6. Intellectual Property
All content and materials available through the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of MetaGen Pro or its licensors. The AI-generated metadata output is provided for your use in your own projects, and you are granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use generated content. We do not claim ownership over your input URLs or content.
7. Privacy and Data
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process personal data as described therein. Generated metadata and input content may be processed by third-party AI providers to fulfill requests. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaGen Pro and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. This includes damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies; you are responsible for reviewing and verifying output before use.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MetaGen Pro operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the applicable jurisdiction.
